Separation Techniques

Today, we learnt about something called separation techniques, and although it seemed quite hard, I still managed to memorise what kinds there are, such as distillation and evaporating to dryness. I also learnt what each type of separating techniques are used in various different combinations of solutions, such as filtering for a suspension, separating the filtrate and the residue. All in all, I find it quite interesting.

Elements

Today, had learnt about a new topic, called elements, and I find it quite interesting, as there are so many elements to learn and what they form when combined with another element. Although it seems rather hard and taxing to learn the various element names, their functions, and their symbols, I feel that it will be quite an enjoyable topic.

Term Three Test Results

This term I had gotten the same grades as last term, which was a C5 and definitely not up to my expectations. I feel that I could have done better as I had many careless and rather stupid mistakes, such as writing the symbol for Mercury as ME instead of NE. I will definitely have to strive harder for next term's Science exams and get a good A1 to pull my grades up!!!

Term Two Science Tests

I feel rather let down as I had done poorly for this term's Science test. This was mainly because I did not study and obtained a C5 as a result. I feel that I should work much harder next term so that I will be able to get good results like last time, and getting an A1.

Term One Science Tests

I got an A1 for my Science test in this term! I feel quite happy, as this will help me to improve my MSG. I feel that I will have to not slacken and continue to improve in order to get A1s for the following terms!
